What is Group Acupuncture?
Group Acupuncture, or Community Style Acupuncture, is a treatment model based on
the idea that a shared treatment experience can be beneficial for healing. In Community
Style Acupuncture, many people are treated together in one room. While this treatment
style may not appeal to everyone, many people find that they enjoy the opportunity to
sit with others and benefit from the "shared qi" in the room.
At this time, Jessica invites students, recent graduates, and those who are currently
unemployed to come to Community Style Acupuncture hours. One very positive
aspect of Community Style Acupuncture is that it allows the practitioner to offer low
cost treatment for patients. This way, acupuncture is available to a wider range of
people, some of whom might otherwise not be able to afford the wonderful benefits of
acupuncture!
